A RARE 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible - A True American Classic at Branson Auction 10/16-17!

This rare convertible was an early 1957, actually built at the Atlanta plant in November of 1956. It is believed that this car was one of the less than 75 fuel injected convertibles due to items like the special hood support relief and factory holes drilled to accommodate a special air intake inlet snout.

In the late 1990’s the car was treated to a very detailed body off frame rotisserie restoration, with most every nut & bolt replaced. It was then fitted with a vintage 1957 engine (block 3731548) dated h 8 57 and only used in 1957.

The engine is a 283 cubic inch with 1957 power pack heads and 1957 Rochester 4 jet carburetor, with dual stainless exhaust, and correct oil bath air cleaner assembly.

This is a highly optioned car, and is a joy to drive. As an investment, these cars continue to hold their value as one of America’s most iconic cars. Much more information is available with this great drop top.

It is one of the many consignments to be offered at the upcoming Branson Auction on October 16 & 17, 2015 at the Branson Convention Center. For registration, consignments, accommodations, and more information, visit www.bransonauction.com or call 800-335-3063.
